What is NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a funding body that supports individuals from ages 0 to 65 with an intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability.
Is your child 0-7 years old?
Your child is eligible for the early childhood approach! If your child has a developmental delay or disability, early childhood intervention helps families and the child learn, grow and understand the needs to become independent for later in their lives.
Is your child older than 7 years?
Your child if they fall in the following categories,
- Australian Citizen
- Permanent Visa Holder
- Protected Special Category holders
Can be eligible for an NDIS plan via NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency). This will enable your child and family to access support to maximise their independence in their daily life activities.
